During my 25 years in the heating industry I have come to understand the needs of the customer. I am proud of my attention to detail and I am committed to providing excellent customer service. Developing a business with values of honesty and first class workmanship is my driving force. My ‘hands on’ approach to managing means I’ll often be found on site ensuring our customers are happy and work is being carried out to a high standard without exception.
My background is in developing and managing some of the most successful and well known businesses in the heating industry. My 12 years experience of managing these businesses and listening to customer feedback has driven me to create a company with like-minded people who really care about the customer. Our mission is to deliver the highest standard of service possible at the best possible price. I feel putting together an operational team with integrity and professionalism is my greatest achievement to date.
Mechanical / Technical Manager
With 17 years experience as a heating engineer and thousands of jobs under my belt I know absolutely what constitutes a job well done. Throughout my time in the heating industry I have spent many hours bringing other’s work up to an exceptional standard which is why I was approached by West Yorkshire Gas Solutions to manage and monitor their service delivery and provide technical support. I am very proud to be part of the team here at West Yorkshire Gas Solutions as their commitment to quality and customer focus fits with my personal ethos.
I have been working in the electrical industry since 1997, and during this time I’ve acquired various electrical qualifications, as well as being a NEBOSH qualified health and safety advisor. In the past I have been an electrical project manager on major rebranding projects for Whitbread’s public houses, and have worked on numerous social and private housing projects. Electrical projects I have recently overseen include the installation of electrical supplies to allow for air conditioning upgrades at Lloyds banking group branches, installation of retina recognition access equipment at various HMPs, and installation of self-scan checkout equipment for various major supermarket chains.
Efficiency is the key to managing any office, the office here at West Yorkshire Gas Solutions is no exception. I have systems in place to ensure that everyone knows what’s happening on a daily basis be that our team of highly skilled engineers, the ‘hands on’ management team or most importantly, you the customer. We are very fortunate here at West Yorkshire Gas Solutions not to have to deal with frustrated or unhappy customers, I feel this is due to our company’s commitment to getting things right from the first point of contact. I am proud to say that we often receive fantastic feedback from customers, this is without doubt the highlight of my day.
As administrator, I deal with a lot of paperwork – but my role also involves ensuring people are in the right places at the right time. I liaise with customers to arrange appointments that best suit them, and am on hand to make any last-minute changes, should they be required. The customers’ needs are always at the forefront of my mind, as a happy customer makes a happy company! One of the best parts of my day is helping customers with their new heating systems. I am always available to talk if they need a little extra help, or to arrange a visit from one of our engineers.
Electrical Engineer/Electrical Renewable Energy Expert
I’ve been in the electrical industry for 12 years. I have a keen eye for detail, and possesses the skills and mentality to carry out projects to highest possible standard. I’ve worked on major social housing schemes, and found a passion for renewable energy – particularly solar PV. I’ve worked on both small scale domestic and large commercial installations, one of which the largest roof mounted PV system in the UK, among many other challenging projects.
