About the Role
WYGS Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) Installers to support our growing portfolio of retrofit and energy-efficiency projects. The successful candidates will work with SWIP and Wetherby internal wall insulation systems, delivering high-quality installations that meet PAS standards and contribute to improved energy performance for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
● Install internal wall insulation using SWIP and Wetherby IWI systems to manufacturer specifications.
● Prepare substrates, including fixing battens, vapour control layers, and insulation boards.
● Apply finishing systems, including plasterboard, skim coats, and associated detailing.
● Ensure all work meets relevant building regulations, PAS 2030/2035 requirements, and internal quality standards.
● Maintain a clean, safe working environment and adhere to all health and safety procedures.
● Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and clients where required.
● Complete installation documentation and photographic evidence for compliance.
Skills & Experience
● Proven experience installing SWIP and/or Wetherby internal wall insulation systems.
● Strong understanding of retrofit principles and moisture management.
● Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation guides.
● High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
● CSCS card preferred.
● PAS 2030 experience advantageous but not essential.
● Full UK driving licence desirable.
